DEC Filtered Foam Earplugs

E.A.R. introduces the DEC Filtered Foam Earplugs.  Developed to provide hearing protection with all day comfort, situational awareness and excellent sound clarity in a re-usable earplug design.

These foam earplugs have an integrated acoustic filter, that are fully ventilated, and provide protection from noise up to 104 dB(A) and allow you to communicate without removing your earplugs.  This great product innovation, improves safety, increases worker compliance and offers the user a comfortable earplug that they will be happy to wear for their full day.  The ventilated design reduces heat build-up, eliminating discomfort and allowing users to function normally, whilst being protected from dangerous noise levels.

FITTING
One of the great advantages of the DEC Filtered Foam Earplugs are the ease of fitment.  The earplugs don’t require rolling prior to insertion and can be pushed into the ear canal using the filter as a grip.  This reduces the chance of contamination from doing a “finger roll” to insert into the ear canal.

COMFORT AND HYGIENE
Ear canals are naturally both moist and warm, which can be amplified when using traditional foam earplugs. Filtered foam earplugs allow air to pass into the ear keeping it cool and letting moisture escape through the filter.  This reduces the chance of infection, increasing comfort and reducing the likelihood of the user removing the ear plugs.
