Adjustable Hearing Protection

"My son developed pain hyperacusis in the Right ear after a viral infection resulting in high-frequency hearing loss. Although the hearing loss recovered within a month, the pain response to sound in the right ear was daily and awful.
Hitting two plates together or clanging pots and pans in the kitchen would result in an instant migraine lasting for hours. He needed something he could wear to attenuate those high frequencies without completely blocking the ear canal.
The Minuendo did a great job reducing the offending high tone sounds and has improved his quality of life. He recently went to a Laker’s and King’s game on the same day using his Minuendos in both ears without any pain, although he had a slight headache afterward. With crowd noise at SoFi stadium and the Forum reaching 130 dB, this is a remarkable improvement and unexpected. He can stay in the kitchen while dinner is being prepared, with just the Right ear Minuendo and tolerates all the sounds.
Without the Minuendo, he would not be able to do these activities unless he wore a solid ear plug. Thanks again for the device; it did the job."
