The iPlugz® BT Gen I, and iPlugz® BT Gen II, round out our series of wireless performance music monitors for the recreational enthusiasts. The iPlugz® BT Gen I features a single balanced armature speaker/driver package, and has an overall broader sound with both highs and lows mixed into one. The iPlugz® BT Gen II features a dual balanced armature speaker/driver package that will focus more on vocal tones and higher frequency ranges, as the single speaker/driver is combined with a tweeter.
The easy to use tactile touch button controls, as well as an integrated microphone for making/answer phone calls, and give you the best control of wireless freedom and noise isolation. Use them for various activities such as running, cycling, everyday workouts, traveling, meditation, range shooting, skiing, motorcycling (where allowed), etc.

- Before charging, make sure the headset is switched off.
- Plug USB cable into the charging port of the headset.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB charger or other charging device. Charging time is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours. The red light will switch off after charging is completed.
WARNING: To avoid damage, use the provided cable to charge the iPlugz®-BT Sports Headset. Charger voltage must be 5V. Available electric current must be 100mA or more. (≥5V/100mA.)
Power On: Press the Multi-Function button until blue lights blink and the headset issues a voice.
Pairing Mode Press the Multi-Function button until blue and red lights blink alternatively and the headset issues a voice.
To Switch Off Press the Multi-Function button until red lights blink and go out and the headset issues a voice.
To pair your iPlugz®-BT headset with your mobile phone Keep the distance between the headset and mobile phone (or other device) within 1 meter. The closer, the better. Press the Multi-Function button until blue and red lights blink and the headset issues a voice to enter pairing mode. When the Bluetooth™ function of mobile phone (or other device is activated, “iPlugzBT” will appear on your phone’s display. Select “iPlugzBT” (some mobile phones require you to input PIN “0000”), the headset will automatically connect with your mobile phone, and blue lights will blink.
NOTE: Maximum time to pair the headset with your device is two minutes. If connection does not occur, retry steps 1-4.
To Disconnect The iPlugz®-BT Sports Headset From Your Mobile Phone Turn off the Bluetooth™ function of your mobile phone .Or, press the Multi-function Button until the red lights go out.Or, take the headset to more than 60 ft. (20 m.) away from the phone.
To Reconnect The Paired iPlugz®-BT Sports Headset With Your Mobile PhoneKeep the distance between the headset and mobile phone (or other device to be connected) within 1 meter. Switch on the headset. Reconnection mode is indicated by blue lights blinking.Turn on the Bluetooth™ search function of your mobile device and the headset will reconnect with the previously connected device
Our iPlugz®-BT Sports Headset are covered from material defects or workmanship issues for a period of 6 month (Limited) from the original shipping date.
6 Month Limited Warranty Explanation:
Warranty does not cover damages caused by the following reasons:
1 – Any physical, or device damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water intrusion/submersion, ear wax, excessive volume, shock, negligence, misuse, acts of God, and/or misapplication of the product.
2 – Damage caused by any unauthorized 3rd party company or person which has resulted in modification or alteration without the written permission of the E.A.R., Inc..
3 – Any defect that is attributable to any damage or misuse, which is beyond the reasonable control of E.A.R. This warranty does not cover accessories or appearance changes due to normal wear/tear and use, and would not be consider a “defect” in the product.
If a product is returned for review, we will replace the product at our discretion. Or, explain the charges necessary to fix the device and bring it back up to working specs.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
E.A.R. 30 Day Fit Guarantee
E.A.R. extends a 30 day fit warranty on any custom-fit iPlugz® Sports Monitors. This allows the end user to use their sports monitors in their environment or application, and address any fit issues they feel need to be reviewed, and/or resolved. An RMA form needs to be filled out and the product sent back to E.A.R. within 30 days post receipt of your order to be covered by the 30 Day Fit Guarantee. International customers must send their order back within 45 days post receipt of the order. RMA forms can be requested by email, or giving us a call.
